COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course focuses on the removal of nitrogenous waste products from the body through haemodialysis. Dialysis technologists play a critical role in the healthcare team by ensuring safe and hygienic dialysis treatments for patients.

Throughout the course, students will acquire knowledge and skills related to various procedures, equipment operations, and patient-handling techniques. Additionally, they will learn about the clinical aspects of dialysis treatment and the vital role of the dialysis technologist within a healthcare setting.

Specifically, the course will cover topics such as machine preparation, performing procedures under the guidance of a nephrologist, and monitoring patients throughout the dialysis process to ensure optimal care. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the necessary skills to provide effective dialysis treatment as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Plus Two With Any Stream
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary Education (+2) in any stream from a recognized Indian Board or University, with a minimum of passing marks.

B.Sc in Dialysis Technology

Educational Qualification:

Plus Two With Science Stream
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary Education (+2) in Science stream from a recognized Indian Board or University, with a minimum of passing marks.

Hospital Administration

Educational Qualification:

Plus Two With Any Stream
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary Education (+2) in any stream from a recognized Indian Board or University, with a minimum of passing marks.

General Duty Assistant

Educational Qualification:

SSLC
Candidates must have completed Highschool Education (SSLC).
